🎬 13–19 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026 Το 12ο International Alexandria Short Film Festival δίνει ξανά ραντεβού με το κοινό και παρουσιάζει τη φετινή του επίσημη αφίσα.

Εμπνευσμένη από τον εμβληματικό πίνακα American Gothic του Grant Wood, η αφίσα επαναπροσδιορίζει το έργο μέσα από το ιδίωμα και την αισθητική του φεστιβάλ.

Η αφίσα φέρνει στο προσκήνιο τη λαϊκή τέχνη της Ελλάδας και των Βαλκανίων, μεταφράζοντας την παραδοσιακή σταυροβελονιά σε σύγχρονη ψηφιακή γλώσσα.

Το παραδοσιακό «Χ» αντικαθιστά το pixel, λειτουργώντας ως το βασικό δομικό στοιχείο της φωτογραφίας.

Η μετάβαση από το κέντημα στο ψηφιακό πλέγμα καθρεφτίζει τη φύση του σύγχρονου κινηματογράφου, όπου η παράδοση και η μνήμη αποτυπώνονται πλέον μέσω της κινούμενης εικόνας. Inspired by Grant Wood’s iconic American Gothic, the poster reinterprets the artwork through the festival’s own visual language and aesthetic.

The poster brings the folk art of Greece and the Balkans to the forefront, translating the traditional cross-stitch embroidery into a contemporary digital language.

The traditional «X» stitch replaces the pixel, acting as the fundamental structural unit of the photograph.

The transition from embroidery to the digital grid reflects the nature of modern cinema, where tradition and memory are now captured through the moving image.
