Ειδική Προβολή στην Ίο: «Ocean with David Attenborough» «Αν σώσουμε τη θάλασσα, σώζουμε τον κόσμο μας.» Το Save Ios, σε συνεργασία με το Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF), φέρνει στην Ίο την ταινία «Ocean with David Attenborough». Η ταινία θα προβληθεί σε διάφορες περιοχές της Ίου τον Ιούλιο και τον Αύγουστο.

Οι προβολές γίνονται στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας Revive Our Ocean Greece, που συντονίζει το CPF.

Η πρώτη προβολή θα γίνει στην παιδική χαρά της Χώρας (δίπλα στα γήπεδα μπάσκετ) την Κυριακή 26 Ιουλίου στις 9μμ.

Η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη.

Η ταινία θα είναι στα Αγγλικά με Ελληνικούς υπότιτλους.

Θα ακολουθήσει ενημέρωση για τον τόπο και χρόνο των επόμενων προβολών.

Η δράση αυτή εντάσσεται στην εθνική προσπάθεια ενημέρωσης και ευαισθητοποίησης για τη σημασία των Θαλάσσιων Προστατευόμενων Περιοχών (ΘΠΠ) και τον διεθνή στόχο 30×30, την προστασία του 30% των θαλασσών έως το 2030.

Η πρωτοβουλία Revive Our Ocean Greece συντονίζεται από το CPF και τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Οργανισμού Φυσικού Περιβάλλοντος και Κλιματικής Αλλαγής (ΟΦΥΠΕΚΑ) και του National Geographic Pristine Seas.

Η πρωτοβουλία υλοποιείται με την υποστήριξη των Ιδρυμάτων Αθηνάς Ι. Μαρτίνου και Α.Γ. Λεβέντη, του Ιδρύματος Κ. Λεμού και του Ελληνικού Κέντρου Κινηματογράφου, Οπτικοακουστικών Μέσων & Δημιουργίας.

Το «Ocean with David Attenborough» αποτελεί ένα ισχυρό μήνυμα ελπίδας για το μέλλον των θαλασσών.

Αναδεικνύει τη μοναδική ομορφιά του υποθαλάσσιου κόσμου, τις σύγχρονες απειλές που αντιμετωπίζει, αλλά και ιστορίες επιτυχίας που αποδεικνύουν ότι η φύση μπορεί να ανακάμψει όταν προστατευθεί αποτελεσματικά.

Save Ios, in collaboration with the Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF), is bringing the film "Ocean with David Attenborough" to Ios.

The film will be screened at various locations across Ios throughout July and August.

The screenings are part of the Revive Our Ocean Greece initiative, coordinated by the CPF.

The first screening will take place at the Chora playground (next to the basketball courts) on Sunday 26 July at 9:00 pm. Entry is free.

The film will be shown in English with Greek subtitles.

Details on the dates and locations of the upcoming screenings will follow.

This event is part of a national effort to raise awareness about the importance of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and the international 30x30 goal, protecting 30% of the seas by 2030. The Revive Our Ocean Greece initiative is coordinated by the CPF, under the auspices of the Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (NECCA/OFYPEKA) and National Geographic Pristine Seas.

The initiative is supported by the Athina I. Martinos and A.G. Leventis Foundations, the K. Lemos Foundation, and the Greek Film Centre, Audiovisual Media & Creation.
