Αναμφίβολα η #francescaalbanese είναι μια χαρισματική ομιλήτρια. Καταιγιστική, αλλά συγκροτημένη και καθ’ όλα τεκμηριωμένη, έχει προσφέρει από την πλευρά της Ειδικής Αντιπροσώπου του ΟΗΕ στα Παλαιστινιακά εδάφη περισσότερα από οποιονδήποτε που κατέχει θέση ισχύος σε διεθνή οργανισμό, για τον Παλαιστινιακό αγώνα.

Και είναι ίσως η πρώτη θεσμική φωνή που μίλησε και τεκμηρίωσε τον όρο Γενοκτονία.

Και για αυτό φυσικά οι ΗΠΑ της πάγωσαν τους λογαριασμούς, της δήμευσαν τη μικρή της περιουσία εκεί, το σπίτι της δηλαδή, και της απαγόρευσαν την είσοδο στη χώρα. Η Albanese μιλά τη νομική γλώσσα του δυτικού διεθνούς δικαίου και δεν θα την ακούσετε να παίρνει θέση στη δημόσια συζήτηση για τη λύση των «δύο κρατών» ή υπέρ ενός Παλαιστινιακού κράτους, πολλώ δε μάλλον υπέρ της Αντίστασης, -αν και χτες κατακεραύνωσε τη σιωπηρή συναίνεση της Παλαιστινιακής Αρχής-, ενώ το Ιράν βρίσκεται εκτός των αντενών της, όπως και δεν θα επιχειρήσει να συζητήσει για πιθανή καταγγελία των ΗΠΑ στα διεθνή δικαστήρια για τις επιθέσεις τους εκεί ή στη Βενεζουέλα.

Όμως της αναγνωρίζουμε την ορατότητα που συνεχίζει να φέρνει στο Παλαιστινιακό ζήτημα, και την εμψύχωση που προσφέρει με την ατρόμητη στάση της και τη διαρκή της παρουσία όπου ζητηθεί η συνεισφορά της.

Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να την παρακολουθήσουμε στο διήμερο που διοργάνωσε το Centre for Postcapitalist Civilisation / mέta και συντόνισε ο Yanis Varoufakis - Γιάνης Βαρουφάκης στο Τριανον, παρουσιάζοντας το νέο της βιβλίο «Όταν ο Κόσμος Κοιμάται» όπως και το ντοκιμαντέρ του Christophe Cotteret «Disunited Nations». Σήμερα θα την φιλοξενήσει ο καθηγητής Πολιτειολογίας Δημήτρης Χριστόπουλος στο Πάντειο και θα πρότεινα να μην το χάσετε.

Αυτό που κρατώ από τις δύο μέρες με την Albanese στο Τριανόν είναι η φράση με την οποία τελείωσε τη χτεσινή της ομιλία: Πάρτε την Ελλάδα στα χέρια σας.

Ώστε να μην γίνεται άθυρμα και αρωγός των Γενοκτόνων. Με Σούδες, με ΕΛΒΟ-Elbit, με την παράδοση της χώρας στον εποικισμό του IDF και με το Predator.

Δεν οφελεί να γκρινιάζουμε για τα δεκάδες χιλιάδες δολοφονημένα παιδιά και μετά να εκλέγουμε φιλοσιωνιστές, όπως τους Μητσοτάκη και Τσίπρα.

Και σ’αυτό, είμαι μαζί της.

Torrential yet composed and thoroughly documented, she has contributed more from her position as the UN Special Representative for the Palestinian territories than anyone else in a position of power within an international organization for the Palestinian cause.

And she is perhaps the first institutional voice to have spoken and documented the term Genocide.

And of course, for this, the US froze her accounts, confiscated her small property there—namely her house—and banned her from entering the country.

Albanese speaks the legal language of Western international law, and you will not hear her take a stance in the public debate on the "two-state" solution or in favor of a Palestinian state, let alone in favor of Resistance—although yesterday she lashed out at the silent consensus of the Palestinian Authority—while Iran is outside her crosshairs, just as she will not attempt to discuss a potential US recourse to international courts for their attacks there or in Venezuela.

Nevertheless, we recognize the visibility she continues to bring to the Palestinian issue, and the encouragement she provides through her fearless stance and her constant presence wherever her contribution is requested.

We had the opportunity to attend her talks during the two-day event organized by the Centre for Postcapitalist Civilisation / mέta and coordinated by Yanis Varoufakis at the Trianon Cinema, presenting her latest book “When the World Sleeps” as well as the documentary “Disunited Nations” by Christophe Cotteret.

Today, she will be hosted by political science professor Dimitris Christopoulos at Panteion University, and I would suggest you not miss it. What I take away from the two days with Albanese at the Trianon is the phrase with which she ended her speech yesterday, calling the audience: "Take Greece." So that Greece does not become a pawn and an accomplice of the Genociders. With Souda Bay, with ELVO-Elbit, with the surrender of the country to IDF settlement and with the Predator surveillance.

It does no good to complain about the tens of thousands of murdered children and then elect proZionists like Mitsotakis and Tsipras. On that, I stand with her.
